Macy Mirsane

Edmonton Student at Law

Macy joined the Edmonton office as an articling student in October 2021. She completed the Internationally Trained Lawyers Pathway at the University of Alberta in 2021. Macy was born in Tehran, Iran where she worked as a lawyer and legal advisor for 5 years. She attended the University of Tehran (UOT) where she obtained her PhD in International Law. While at the UOT, she authored several books and articles. Macy’s recent article regarding the role of Amicus Curiae in Canadian judicial system has been published in Alberta Law Review.

Macy has been an active volunteer in Social Catholic Service since 2021. Outside of the office, Macy enjoys playing piano, TRX, and swimming.
