Jeremy Ryan Chua
Associate
Jeremy’s practice is primarily focused on Corporate and Commercial Transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, incorporations, and navigating shareholders’ agreements. He is also actively involved in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, assisting clients with the purchase, sale and leasing of single-family homes to commercial buildings.
Prior to relocating to Canada, Jeremy served as General Counsel for a large transportation conglomerate, overseeing a range of businesses. His work included leading successful acquisitions of competing companies, managing government contracts, negotiating collective bargaining agreements with unions, and representing the private sector before Congressional Committees and administrative bodies to inform public policy and advocate for stakeholder interests.
Jeremy also brings valuable experience in Public-Private Partnerships (P3), having drafted both solicited and unsolicited concession agreements. He has managed contracts related to major infrastructure developments, including airport expansions, highways, transit terminals, and other public utilities.
Outside the office, Jeremy is an avid boxer, stock trader, photographer, and cook. He and his wife enjoy traveling the world together to discover new cultures and cuisines—though he’ll be the first to admit, he absolutely hates running.
