Michelle is counsel with the Calgary office after running her own firm for more than a decade. Michelle works in the areas of corporate and commercial law, but her specialty is tax law. She has been working with small and medium sized business owners ensuring that they are operating in the most tax efficient way possible.
Michelle strives to be able to convey complicated tax topics to her clients in a very approachable way.
Her undergraduate degree is from the University of Alberta, where she obtained a BComm degree with a specialization in accounting. She attended the Schulich School of Law in Halifax, where she received her JD (Juris Doctor). She has completed her CICA, Levels I and II, and is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation as well as the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners.
